Holy Spirit, we invite Your transformative presence to work powerfully within the hearts of those struggling with addiction. We ask for conviction, guidance, and the strength to resist temptation. Replace cravings with a deep longing for Your presence, a thirst for spiritual nourishment that surpasses any earthly desire. Remind them of the liberating truth of Romans 8:2: "For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death."

We lift up the families and loved ones affected by addiction, those who bear the weight of worry and uncertainty. Comfort them in their pain, providing solace and strength amidst the turmoil. Unite them in shared support, fostering understanding and unwavering love. May they find solace in the promise of Psalm 34:17-18: "When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Lord, we acknowledge our own human frailty and the constant need for Your guidance. Help us to align our thoughts and actions with Your perfect will, to live in the light of Your truth, and to embrace the freedom promised by Jesus in John 8:36: "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
