Dear Heavenly Father,

In Your Word, You assure us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Father, I surrender my desires and plans to You, recognizing that Your ways are higher than mine. Guide me, O Lord, as I navigate through the vast sea of educational opportunities and choices.

Precious Jesus, You are the embodiment of wisdom and knowledge. Your Word in James 1:5 reminds us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." I humbly ask You, Jesus, to grant me the discernment to make choices that align with Your will for my life. Dear Heavenly Father,

Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Lord, we cling to this promise and ask for Your comforting presence to envelop us during this difficult time.

Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, we thank You for Your perfect example of seeking solace in prayer when faced with anguish. Teach us to follow in Your footsteps, to find solace in communing with our Heavenly Father. Grant us the strength to come to You in prayer, pouring out our hearts and finding the peace and courage that only You can provide.

Holy Spirit, our ever-present helper, we invite You to guide us during this journey of grief. Fill our hearts with the assurance of Your love, as written in Romans 8:26, knowing that You intercede for us with groanings too deep for words. Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, seeking Your presence in our worship. We long to draw near to You, to experience Your love and grace in a profound way. As we gather, help us to be reminded of Your Word in James 4:8, which says, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."

Lord, we pray for our church, that it may be a faithful place of worship. May our hearts be fully devoted to You, and may our worship be a sweet aroma in Your presence. Strengthen us to be a beacon of light in this world, shining Your love and truth to all who encounter us.

We acknowledge, Jesus, that You are the way, the truth, and the life. According to John 14:6, "No one comes to the Father except through [You]." We pray that our worship may always lead us closer to You, Jesus, knowing that in You alone we find salvation and eternal life.

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move in our midst. Guide us as we worship, that our songs may be filled with genuine praise, our prayers may be offered with fervent hearts, and our time in Your Word may be transformative. Help us to embrace Your presence and to be filled with Your wisdom and discernment.

Heavenly Father, with a heart heavy with concern, I come before Your throne of grace.
