Menya viazi kisha vioshe na vikaushe maji yote kwa kutumia kitchen towel.Baada ya hapo katakata katika shape ya chips uzipendazo either nyembamba au nene kisha zikaushe tena maji na uzitie chumvi. Baada ya kuzitia chumvi tu zitie kwenye mafuta ya kukaangia straightaway (hakikisha mafuta yasiwe ya moto sana kwani utazibabua) Zipike upande mmoja ukiiva geuza upande wa pili. Baada ya hapo endelea kuzipika uku ukiwa unazigeuzageuza mpaka kwa nje ziwe light brown na crisps.Baada ya hapo zitoe na uziweke kwenye kitchen towel ili zichuje mafuta na zitakuwa tayari kwa kuliwa.
